Among so many films I have watched, the one I like most is Romeo and Juliet, which is directed by Baz Luhrmann. It is adapted from Shakespeare's novel
which has the same name.
The film tells of a beautiful but sad story. Romeo(played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet(played by Claire Dennis) fell in love at first sight at a party. Romeo sneaked into Juliet's backyard and they expressed their love to each other in words. At last, because of the rivalry between their two families, Romeo and Juliet died together.
Although this film is a tragedy, the love between Romeo and Juliet is not tragic. They not only loved each other, but also dared to pursue their love. The plot of the film is very attractive and exciting and the scenery is so artistic that I can't get it out of my mind. In summary, it's the best film I've ever watched . And here is my favorite actors’ line from Shakespeare in this film: "young men's love then lies not truly in their heart, but in their eyes."
